The ZEUS Nanocar from the Charles Bombardier Research Center is a cool sit-on vehicle that was developed using a Segway PT platform.

The ZEUS Nanocar was conceived to provide a seated ride while balancing on two wheels. Weighing in at 130lbs, the top speed of the ZEUS Nanocar is 20 km/h (12 mph).

With a seated position, the ZEUS has a lower center of gravity than a Segway and it is less visible on public roads. Therefore this concept should be seen as a new type of recreational vehicle for off 'public' road use or for bike path, gated communities, theme parks etc...

Currently there are no plans to put the ZEUS Nanocar into production.
