The
2009 Aprilia SL 750 GT Shiver is a partially faired derivative
of the Aprilia Shiver 750.
The SL 750 GT Shiver has been designed as a sports tourer,
combining sports handling with versatility and value.
Powering the Aprilia SL 750 GT Shiver is a 749 cc, 90 degree,
V-twin engine which develops 95 horsepower @ 9,000 rpm, and
60 lb-ft of torque @ 7,000 rpm. This engine features electronic
throttle control with three different settings, sport, touring
and rain.
The chassis of the Aprilia SL 750 GT Shiver consists of a
steel trellis main section with aluminium side plates and
a removable rear subframe. The front suspension is handled
by 43 mm upside-down forks with 120 mm of travel. At the rear
is an adjustable rear shock with allowing for 130 mm of travel.
