BMW HP2 is an off-road enduro machine for tackling some of the
roughest terrain on earth. Powered by a 1170 cc Boxer twin,
the HP2 is based on the BMW R1200 GS but tailored for the enduro rider by
a small team of BMW Motorrad engineers and mechanics who ride
off-road bikes in their spare time. The HP2 truly is built for
enthusiasts by enthusiasts.
The BMW HP2's name is derived from 'High Performance' and '2'
indicating the bikes boxer twin engine.
