The
BMW R1100S is one of BMW sportiest bikes. Although it's aimed
more at the touring market. Power for the R1100S comes form
a 1085 cc, flat-twin engine mated to a 6-speed transmission
and enclosed shaft drive.
The bulbous styling of the BMW R1100S is unique, but not beautiful.
The headlight unit features an asymetrical layout, underneath
twin air inlets provide cooling air to the oil cooler. At the
rear of the R1100S the twin exhaust is neatly incorporated into
the spacious double seat unit.
