The BMW R1150R Rockster is a sportier version of the BMW R1150 R model. It uses the same engine, gearbox, frame, swing arm and electrics.

The headlight unit of the Rockster is borrowed from the R1150 GS, while some of the components such as the Telelever sliding tubes, 5.5 inch rear wheel rim and the front mudguard come from the R1100 S.

Like the rest of BMWs boxer range, the R1150 R Rockster features a dual ignition system that improves the uniformity of combustion throughout the engines operating range, while reducing fuel consumption and emission levels.

Striking twin-tone paintwork in matt black and a choice of Citrus Green Metallic and Orange Metallic colour schemes gives the BMW R1150R Rockster a unique appearance.
