The
Benelli Tornado 1130 which was introduced in 2006 is a higher
displacement, and power, version of the Benelli
Tornado Tre 900.
The Benelli Tornado 1130 has restyled graphics and colors compared
with the Tornado Novecento Tre. The 1130's exclusiveness is
also emphasised by the matt black frame, swingarm and steering
plate.
Like the Tornado Tre 900, the Tre 1130 frame is made by joining
the front part, including the steering pivot and the side trellis
frame structure made of molybdenum chrome steel, to the rear
part, made of cast aluminium alloy. The two parts are attached
with strong screws securing the four trellises, which allow
an extremely solid join, this is reinforced by structural gluing,
as used in the aeronautical industry.
