Only 60 examples of the Bimota YB6 Tuatara were ever built.
It was designed to be as close to a World Superbike race machine
as possible while still being road legal and usable.
Based around a custom designed aluminium frame designed by Bimota.
The bike was powered by a 989cc inline 4-cylinder engine from
Yamaha. This fuel-injected unit managed to produce an extremely
healthy 152 horsepower and 69 lb-ft of torque.
The Bimota YB6 Tuatara featured fully adjustable Marzocchi front
forks and rear monoshock. |
