The Hypermotard concept is a concept Ducati intends to put into
production, possibly by 2007. Ducati is allowing potential buyers
of the Hypermotard register their opinions, wants and needs
and the suggestions will influence the final design. Never before
has the general public been able to influence a final design
to this extent.
The Ducati Hypermotard shares the same basic chassis from the
Multistrada but features a new alloy rear subframe. Help keep
the weight down the concept Hypermotard has magnesium engine
covers. Suspension is handled by 50mm upside down Marzocchi
forks and an Ohlins rear shock.
