The
entry-level Multistrada 620 retains all the outstanding performance,
total control and maximum comfort of the Multistrada 1000 DS,
yet has the added benefit of being noticeably lighter and lower:
a full 13 kg/28 lbs lighter and 20 mm lower. Riders can devour
the bends with outstanding agility and an added sense of security
no matter what the situation.
The light clutch lever pull of the APTC (Adler Power torque
Clutch) makes the riding experience more pleasurable, even in
tortuous inner city traffic. Featuring the anti-slip technology
developed for competition, this clutch makes even the most aggressive
downshifts possible.
A Dark version of the Multistrada 620 is also available. Its
classic matte black colouring and front brake with single large-diameter
disc evokes the minimalist aesthetics of the supermotard. Both
versions have inherited a wide range of Ducati Performance accessories
from the classic 1000 DS, allowing the rider to personalise
the Multistrada, emphasizing either its touring or sport side.
Both are available in versions with power limited to 25 kW as
per European standards.
MAXIMUM POWER, MAXIMUM DEXTERITY
The entry-level Multistrada engine, the 620 air-cooled Desmodue,
features a sophisticated injection system developed by Ducati
racing. Light in weight, and with potent power delivered over
a wide rpm range, the Multistrada 620 is both versatile and
economical.

I'm the proud owner of a yellow Ducati Multistrada 620. I bought
it at the begining of 2005 and still have it. It's a fun bike
to ride and I use it for touring. I got custom side saddlebags
fitted and a top storage box with a backrest. It has such a
smooth shifting transmission, even while shifting under heavy
accelleration. It has such good power and control blasting through
the cottage back road going 100mph!
It is my favorite sport tourer I've ever owned, especially with
the $1000 luggage and radio system hooked up. I love that bike
and always will.
