The
Gilera 600 Supersport which was unveiled in 2001 was intended
to revive Gilera superbike division.
The frame of the Gilera 600 Supersport was made up from aluminium
and titanium sections glued together using techiniques normaly
reserved for the aerospace industry.
The Gilera 600 Supersport was powered by a 599 cc inline four-cylinder
developing 120 bhp @ 13,000 rpm.
Unfortunatley the stunning Gilera 600 Supersport has so far
failed to make it into production.
