The KTM Sting is a 125 cc supermotard style bike which, in restricted form, was suitable for learners. In derestricted form it was a nippy little two-stroke machine for commuting and carving up backstreets. It's light overall weight and agile handling makes it an easy bike to ride.

The styling of the KTM Sting was influenced by the KTM Duke Supermotard of the same time period (1997 - 2000), and included the same distinctive twin-headlight front fairing.

The KTM Sting featured high quality upside-down front forks, and a large 320mm (12.6 inch) front brake disc with a four piston caliper to provide more than ample stopping power.
