The Laverda 750S Formula was a limited
edition model of the 750S. The engine in the 750S Formula is
a dated design harking back to the late 1980's which has been
upgraded from carburetors to fuel injection, the character of
the engine means that power delivery from the 750S Formula is
revvy and rather harsh. The chassis however was very modern
and competent, the frame is a stiff aluminium twin spar design,
high quality components include fully adjustable Paioli upside-down
racing forks and rear mono-shock and Brembo brakes. The Laverda
750S Formula is an unusual alternative to the Ducati 748R.
