The Moto Guzzi MGS-01 was a track machine first seen at the
2002 Intermot bike show. In 2004 it became a reality, although
only 50 were built. And they were never homologated for road
use. The design of the MGS-01 was influenced by Ghezzi and Brian,
renowned Moto Guzzi custom bike specialists.
Powering the Moto Guzzi MGS-01 is a 1225 cc 90-degree V-twin
which develops 122 HP @ 8,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque @ 6,400
rpm. The transmission was handled by a 6-speed shaft drive unit.
The suspension of the MGS-01 comes from Ohlins, while the brakes
come courtesy of Brembo.
