The
2009 Suzuki Gladius 650 is a naked sports bike aimed at both
novice and experienced bikers alike.
Powering the Suzuki Gladius is a 650 cc fuel injected, twin
plug head, V-twin engine borrowed from the Suzuki
SV650.
The styling of the Suzuki Gladius is clearly influenced by perhaps
the most famous naked bike of all, the Ducati Monster. However
Suzuki have managed to give the Gladius enough of its own personality
to make it a worthy addition to the companys lineup.
Probably the main sales competitor the Gladius 650 will face
is Kawasaki's ER-6n.
