The
Blast, from Blast Automotive based in Northern California, is
a lightweight roadster built for driver enjoyment.
The Blast took 4 years of design and development before first
hitting the streets. Powered by an easily modified 2.2 (or 2.5)
litre turbocharged Subaru engine running through a 5 speed manual
gearbox the performance can be tailored to suit the drivers
needs.
The simplistic, yet purposeful fiberglass body is fitted atop
a jig welded triangular metal space frame chassis. The suspension
comprises of 4 fully adjustable and independent coil over shocks.
The Blast is available as a kit or as a fully functional car,
minus the paint.
