Fornasari began importing Chevrolet Corvettes from the U.S.
to Italy in the early 1990's and converting them for racing
use.
In 1999 Fornasari set up a company creating their own cars,
including the Fornasari LeMans. Built on a Callaway Corvette
the Fornasari LeMans featured a TV and video camera for reversing,
leather seats, hand hammered aluminium and pure wool carpets.
