Launched in 2004, the design of the Radical SR4 Clubsport was inspired by the Le Mans-winning Bentley, designed by Peter Elleray, who is also responsible for overseeing Radical's SR9 LMP2 Le mans Prototype. For road use, the Radical SR4's suspension can be raised, and a kit comprising of lighting, hand brake, front luggage compartment, catalytic converter and road tyres fitted.

The Radical SR4 is powered by a range of high-power, Powertec four-cylinder superbike engines. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox and unique chain-driven, reversing limited-slip differential.

For 2007 the Radical SR4 is available with a new front diffuser and bi-plane wing which improves downforce.
