For
2006 a special "20 Years Edition Aero Convertible" was created
for the American market. This car was unveiled at the Los Angeles
Auto Show in January 2006 to celebrate 20 years since the introduction
of the Saab 900 convertible.
For 2006, the Saab 9-3 Aero was equipped with a new 2.8 liter
turbo 6 cylinder. This engine had 8.7 psi boost and developed
250 hp (190 kW).
