The Spyker C8 Spyder GT2R was revealed in March 2005, during
the Geneva Motor Show.
The Spyder GT2R is the race version of the Spyker C8 Spyder
and was entirely developed in-house by Spyker.
The Spyker C8 Spyder GT2R is powered by the same Audi V8 engine
used in all their road cars. The race version of this engine
has is mated to a Hewland six speed sequential gearbox.
