The
Vision Industries SZR is an official production model based
on the Vision Industries K2 project.
It is equipped with 600 to 650 horsepower from a choice of
two engine types, a 500 cubic inch V8 or a 6.1 liter V12.
Exterior changes from the K2 include aerodynamic improvements,
resulting in a sleeker form devoid of a rear spoiler, and
improved head lamps for better visibility.
Vision Industries is located in Mar Vista, California, and
all design and production is executed within the United States.
The Vision Industries SZR debuted at the Great Los Angeles
Auto Show in 2005, finished in the new metallic paint scheme
of silver. Other popular metallic colors for the SZR is orange,
first used on the #4 SZR produced.
