The Alfa Romeo 145 Cloverleaf, which was introduced in late 1995, was the top-spec model of the 145. It featured the same 2.0 litre Twin Spark engine already in use in the Alfa Romeo 155. This engine produced over 150 horsepower @ 6,400 rpm and 138 lb-ft (187 Nm) of torque @ 4,000 rpm.

The 145 Cloverleaf was equipped with a faster steering rack than the standard car. This improved steering response, however the turning circle was increased as a byproduct. The suspension setup was also significantly stiffer, giving the car a rather harsh ride.

The 145 Cloverleaf is seen by many as being one of Alfa's most hardcore hot hatches ever.

If you can see past the dated and bland styling, and find yourself a decent one, you'll have your hands on an exceptional and unusual hot hatch.
