The 2007 Mercedes-AMG luxury coupé, the CL 63 AMG, is powered
by an AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine that was developed independently
and delivers a maximum output of 386 kW/525 hp and 630 Newton
metres of peak torque. This allows for a 0-60 mph sprint in
just 4.6 seconds, and an electronically limited 155 mph top
speed.
The Mercedes CL 63 AMG features an aggressive AMG body kit,
AMG sports suspension based on Active Body Control, and the
AMG performance braking system fitted as standard.
The Mercedes CL 63 AMG also features PRE-SAFE, the anticipatory
occupant protection system, supplemented by the addition of
both the innovative new PRE-SAFE Brake and DISTRONIC PLUS as
an option.
