The styling of the Carrozzeria Touring Disco Volante concept was inspired
by the original 1950s
Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, however the entire design was thoroughly
updated for the 21st century, meaning its lines now nicely compliment
Alfa Romeo's current lineup of cars.
To say the Disco Volante concept is a good looking car would be like
saying Usain Bolt is "fairly quick". Everything from the
bulging squared-off wheel arches, to the neatly truncated rear panel
with its minuscule taillights ooze Italian chic. The bodywork is a
mixture of hand-crafted aluminium panels with fiberglass elements.
Carrozzeria Touring put the Disco Volante into an extremely limited
production run. But unless you've recently struck oil, or are the
dictator of a small country, it's well out of your price range.
