SpaceTourer HYPHEN
The Citroen SpaceTourer HYPHEN concept is a show vehicle designed
to promote the company's new SpaceTourer MPV model. The concept was
designed with the help of French electric pop group HYPHEN HYPHEN
- hence the name and eye-searing interior.
Aside from some cosmetic 'enhancements' the Citroen SpaceTourer HYPHEN
is relatively unchanged in comparison to the regular production model
- of which there will be three variants, including a 9-seater model.
The SpaceTourer HYPHEN features some rugged upgrades, including new
bumpers, wheel arch protectors, and tough plastic side sills. The
concept also wears some funky (although completely impractical) tires
and a roof rack. In addition it also rides higher thanks to raised
suspension and 19-inch wheels.
The interior of the Space Tourer HYPHEN concept is marked out by its
bold use of color. Turquoise and orange are smashed together, with
just a few splashes of silver on the seats to calm things down.
Powering the concept is a 4x4 drivetrain which consists of a BlueHDi
150 S&S diesel engine coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox.
