The Jaguar AL (Advanced Lightweight) Coupe concept car ushers in a new generation of Jaguar sports cars and sports sedans.

The AL Coupe benefits from Jaguar's advanced lightweight aluminum architecture technology.

In unrestricted form the AL coupe could reach 60 mph from standstill in less than five seconds, and have potential 180 mph top speed.

The Jaguar AL Coupe went on to become the production Jaguar XK sports car.
