Toyota's i-unit is intended as a vision of future transport
for city dwellers. The i-unit went on show with another
concept, the i-Foot.
Toyota has designed this single person vehicle with the
intention of bringing the user into closer harmony with
their surroundings. It has two driving modes, upright
for slow movement, and the laid back high-speed mode.
The i-Unit is controlled using drive-by-wire technology
via a joystick controler.
