The Kawasaki ZXR 250 was the smallest displacement ZXR series bike, coming in below the Kawasaki ZXR 400. The Kawasaki ZXR 250 was introduced in 1989 as the ZXR 250A. It undewent a design revision in 1991 becoming the ZXR 250C. Changes included new bodywork, suspension, electricals, engine and carburators. Power was increased and weight was reduced. These changes saw it through to 1999 when production stopped.
