As part of the celebrations surrounding the 20 year anniversary
of the GSX-R Suzuki has released a special version of the SV1000S for 2005 the Suzuki SV1000SZ.
It features a black frame, swingarm and wheels and a GSX-R inspired
paint job. Power estimates for the Suzuki SV1000SZ vary around
120-125 hp (a slight increase over the SV1000S).
However after contacting Suzuki (UK) I was told the SV1000S
and SV1000SZ both had a power output of 118 hp...
But engine modifications have been made and the Suzuki SV1000SZ
reportedly has higher mid range torque
but peak torque is unchanged.

In the 20th anniversary year of the GSX-R series Suzuki release
a special edition of the SV1000S. The SV1000SZ shares the same
iconic colour as the GSX-R range and comes as standard with
full fairing and a stylish looking all black frame, swingarm
and wheels. Improved performance and quicker throttle response
for an all round better performing machine.
