As
part of the celebrations surrounding the 20 year anniversary
of the GSX-R Suzuki has released a special version of the SV1000S for 2005 the Suzuki SV1000SZ.
It features a black frame, swingarm and wheels and a GSX-R inspired
paint job. Power estimates for the Suzuki SV1000SZ vary around
120-125 bhp (a slight increase over the SV1000S).
However after contacting Suzuki (UK) I was told the SV1000S
and SV1000SZ both had a power output of 118 bhp...
But engine modifications have been made and the Suzuki SV1000SZ
reportedly has higher mid range torque
but peak torque is unchanged.

a special edition of the SV1000S. The SV1000SZ shares the same
iconic colour as the GSX-R range and comes as standard with
full fairing and a stylish looking all black frame, swingarm
and wheels. Improved performance and quicker throttle response
for an all round better performing machine.
