The
Aston Martin Vanquish S V12 is a higher spec version of the
V12 Vanquish. It first appeared at the
2004 Paris Auto Show.
Powered from the 5.9 litre V12 had been increased to 520 horsepower,
addressing some observers concerns that the V12 Vanquish was
too similar in performance to the much cheaper Aston Martin DB9.
Although undoubtedly a prestigious sports car, the Vanquish
V12 has sometimes come under criticism for its use of 'lower
class' Ford components borrowed from other models.
