The Fiat Barchetta ("little boat" in Italian) was produced from 1995 to 2005, with a small pause from 2002 - 2004. Developed under the name Tipo B Spider 176, the Fiat Barchetta was based on the Mk1 Fiat Punto chassis. Designed at the Fiat Centro Stile, the Barchetta is an attractive little sports car, if somewhat soft around the edges.

The Fiat Barchetta was produced in left hand drive form only, despite the fact it was sold in both Britain and Japan (right hand drive countries).
