The Fiat X1/9 was and still is a fun car to drive. It was produced from 1973 to 1988. It came originally with a 1.3 litre engine that was upgraded to 1.5 litres in 1980. With its low weight and rear engine design it was a nimble and responsive car but lacked adaquate power to be a real performer. The x1/9 still has a loyal and enthusiastic following to this day.

For the American market the Fiat X1/9 was equipped with a 1.5 litre engine and more cumbersome safety bumpers. In some markets the X1/9 was sold under the Bertone badge.
