The
Swiss-made Leblanc Caroline GTR is a race car, which can also
be driven on public roads. The design of the carbon fibre monocoque
is intended to provide high rigidity and safety, other elements
of the chassis are made from titanium or magnesium. The curvaceous
bodywork of the Leblanc Caroline is formed from carbonfibre.
Power for the Leblanc Caroline comes from a 2 litre turbocharged
race-bred engine which produces 512bhp, and 539 Nm of torque
at 6000 rpm. All this power in a car which only weighs 785 kg
(1731 lbs), makes the Leblanc Caroline one of the fastest accelerating
cars on the road, with slick tires the car can reach 60 mph
in under 3 seconds.
Each Leblanc Caroline can be customised on purchase and almost
any request can be fulfilled, even the installation of a modern
Formula 1 engine is possible.
