The
Marcos Mantis GT comes from Marcos engineering, a small - often
troubled - British sports car company. The Marcos GT uses a
Ford Mustang V8 with a Vortech supercharger
to make over 500 horsepower. The GT comes complete with luxuries
such as leather upholstery and a digital dash.
The Mantis GT's Voluptuous if somewhat over-the-top body is
constructed from fibreglass
with a smattering of carbon
fiber components.
After a revival of Marcos as a company the Marcos Mantis GT
has been succeeded by the Marcos TSO.
Chris Marsh - who was with Marcos engineering for 11 years -
moved on and is partly responsible for the Farboud GTS sportscar.
