The Bimota DB5-R, like the Bimota DB5, is powered by a Ducati 1000DS motor mounted in a lightweight trellis
frame. The Bimota DB5-R uses various parts sourced from
the Benelli Tornado including the screen
and mirrors.
The Bimota DB5-R features full carbon fiber fairings, an exposed
dry clutch, gold OZ Racing wheels and special Bimota paintwork.
