The VFR400R NC30 uses a V-four stroke engine with gear driven camshafts (ensuring timing reliability) mounted in a race bred stiff lightweight twin beam aluminium frame.

The race inspired VFR400R NC30 has small dimesions and is suited to smaller riders, front forks are of conventional design and ample front braking is provided by twin four piston calipers.
