Since
2003, the Donkervoort D8-range has been powered by Audi’s famous
1.8T 20V engine. This unit has proven to be reliable, compact,
light and it meets the strongest exhaust regulations. The power
output varies from 150 and 180 bhp up to 210 and even 270 bhp.
By using these powerful engines in conjunction with a lightweight,
but very stiff chassis, and specially developed suspension components
the Donkervoort D8 is capable of rapid accelaration and superb
roadholding.
Customers can customise their Donkervoort D8 from the factory,
choosing exterior and interior colors and trim, carbon
fiber, alcantara and aluminium are all options. Customers
can also choose between stiff racing suspension or a more relaxed
touring setup.
