The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is a limited edition version of
the CCXR. Only three examples of the Trevita are due to be built,
and that exclusivity comes at a price.
The jewel in the CCXR Trevita's crown is not the 1000 + horsepower
V8, you can get that in the 'standard' CCXR. Instead it is the
unique finish of the bodywork. At first glance the vehicle appears
to be finished in a bright metalic silver, however up close
the real reason for the sparkling appearance is revealed.
By utilising a new and unique method, Koenigsegg has managed
to coat fibers with a diamond finish. The process was fully
developed at Koenigsegg headquarters in Ängelholm Sweden,
where the fiber treatment is conducted carefully in small quantities,
prior to further processing the prepreg material. To put it
basically the bodywork is unpainted carbon fibre with a silver
color added to the weave itself - not painted on top.
The name 'Trevita' is an abbreviation in Swedish and translates
into - three whites. This highlights not only the unique finish
but also the construction number.
All three CCXR Trevitas are fully equipped with double-stack
carbon wing, paddle-shift transmission, inconell sports exhaust
system, carbon ceramic brakes with ABS, hydraulic lifting system,
infotainment system, tire pressure monitoring system, chrono
instrument cluster and airbags.
