The Audi A5 Cabriolet comes with either a
2.0 litre 4 cylinder or 3.2 litre V6 engine.
The Audi A5 Cabriolet is a stylish four-seat convertible which
replaces the Audi A4 Cabriolet. The sleek lines of the A5
Coupe have been well translated into an open top model by
Audi's designers. Although as is often the case, the hardtop
probably wins in the overall beauty competition.
Power for the Audi A5 Cabriolet comes from a choice of two engines.
The base model comes with a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder
which develops 211 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Next
up is the 3.2 litre V6 which produces 265 horsepower and 243
lb-ft of torque. There is also a choice of two transmissions
and drivetrain layouts. The 2.0 litre engine can be connected
to either a front-wheel-drive (FrontTrak) continuously variable
transmission or a a tiptronic 6 speed automatic with quattro
all-wheel-drive. The 3.2 V6 model is available solely with the
6 speed auto and quattro drive. If the performance of these
models isn't enough then there's always the Audi
S5 Cabriolet to consider.
