The
TVR S Series was first introduced in 1986, the car was intended
to provide an introduction to TVR ownership.
The TVR S3C was a later version of the S Series, and came after
the S1, S2 and S3. The 'C' in the name referred to the 'Catalysts'
which were fitted to the car leading to an increase in torque.
The S3C was also fitted with a limited slip differential (not
fitted to the S3).
Power for the S3C came from a 2.9 litre V6, running through
a 5-speed manual to the rear wheels.
Inside, the S3C features electric windows, electric mirrors,
and electric boot release. Standard options on the TVR S3C included
a walnut dash, tinted windows and sports seats.
