An exhaust doughnut puller is a simple tool specifically designed to help remove or install rubber mounting ring-style (anti-vibration) hangers often found on modern exhaust systems. The hook of the tool is placed through the rubber mounting ring. Then the ring is pulled or pushed until it stretches enough to be removed from the hook on the muffler, exhaust pipe, or frame. To install a ring the procedure is reversed.
