A foot pump is a foot operated device which can be used to inflate anything from car tires to footballs.

Foot pumps usually consist of a pedal for applying pressure, a cylinder (sometimes two) for containing and pressurizing the air, a dial for monitoring air pressure, and a flexible rubber air hose for attaching the foot pump to the object which is to be inflated.
