A paintless dent removal tool is any of a variety of tools used to repair dents in vehicles without causing damage to existing paintwork. Paintless dent removal (PDR) tools come in a wide variety of shapes, including rounded, pointed, knife-edged, and flat, and angles, including straight, curved, hooked, and right angle. PDR tools also vary in the thickness of steel or nylon from which they are made. Generally, the larger the diameter of the dent the thicker the tool needed to start removal.
