A parts cleaning tank is a tank used for degreasing and removing other unwanted materials and residues from automotive parts and equipment.

There are several different types of parts cleaning tank. Some parts cleaners use an electromechanical agitator, while others come with a flexible metal delivery nozzle for directing the cleaning fluid onto the workpiece. Some systems may be heated with gas or electricity, while others are unheated.

Various cleaning solutions are available for the hot and cold varieties. Also, aqueous parts cleaners are available which use a more environmentally friendly cleaning solution.
