Power hacksaws are exactly what it sounds like. They are hacksaws which are electrically powered and built to cut through large crossections of steel and other metals. Power hacksaws usually consist of a a motorised hacksaw blade - which only cuts on the backstroke, a vice to hold the metal which is being cut, and a cooling flow of water (or coolant liquid) which helps keep hacksaw blade cool while it is being cut.
