A seal driver is a tool used to efficiently install new seals. Seal drivers are designed to fit snugly against the seal case and inside the seal lip. The seal driver is tapped with a soft hammer to drive the seal into its housing. Kits are available that contain a variety of drivers and/or adapters to fit most automotive applications.
