Wheel chocks are used to stop a vehicle rolling forward or backwards during maintenance. Wheel chocks are a cheap and effective way of providing additional safety when working on a vehicle which is up on a jack, axle stands or on ramps.

Wheel chocks should be placed in contact with the vehicles tire so the chock is wedged snugly between the tire and ground.
