A pair of car ramps enable a vehicle to be raised off the ground to allow access and safe working on the underside of the vehicle.

Car ramps often come in either metal or toughened plastic forms. Before each use check both ramps to make sure they are not damaged. When driving a car up onto the ramps it is often helpful to have a second person guide you. Once on the ramps, wheel chocks should be place behind the wheels which are still on the ground to make sure the vehicle does not roll off the ramps.
