Manual chain hoists are ideal for use in a workshop or factory environment. They have a triple spur geared shaft and a pinion with load braking. Compact gear housing allows them to be used in areas with limited space and they are usually available in sizes to bear safe working loads from 0.5 to 5 tonnes.
